Eureka – Then, Now and the Future

Eurkeka:  This week’s service will explore the ways that paying attention to our past can set out new ways of seeing the present and acting in the future.  Please bring an item symbolizing something or someone from your past to set upon the central table as we honor the holy days of Samhain and All Soul’s Day.

Humankind’s Pursuit of Meaning

(This is the Auction sermon) Join us as we explore the ways in which human beings inherently seek to express meaning in their lives. We will look at early religions, modern science, and scholarly work regarding how we are meaning making creatures.

Curiosity and Community

How is it that we make community? What does it mean to be a member, a participant, and a co-creator of community? We will be looking at ways that ancient traditions help us to seek out community. Join us in a time of curiosity.

Interconnection with the Earth

As Earth Day approaches we will explore Unitarian Universalists 7th principle “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part” and how spirituality interconnects us to the world around us.
