Rev. Fuss says that when the journey into our inner being and core values are integrated into our lives, we can reach beyond ourselves in faith, service, and community. Diverse leaders deeply rooted in spirituality have exemplified such a journey: Abraham and Sarah, Moses, prophets and Jesus in the Bible, St. Francis of Assisi, Gandhi, Muhammad, and Gautama Buddha. The journey is important to our “wholeness” and to the well-being of others.
