CUU BOOK CLUB

The book for February is Go as a River by Shelley Read.  This novel is inspired by the real-life destruction of the town of Iola, Colorado. It tells the story about a young woman living on the family farm who enters into a love relationship with a Native American man which is forbidden due to local prejudices. It explores themes of love, identity and the power of nature to guide one’s path through live.

The book for March will be Briar Club by Kate Quinn. It is suggested to put on reserve now because it may be a little hard to get.

We’d love to have new folks participating in this group!

 Call Beth Schilpp with questions.
