Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around

In her “Poem for South African Women,” June Jordan asks, “And who will join this stand-up…? As we watch what is happening in the US we are left considering the same question. She concludes, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” How do we maintain the courage and stamina to resist?
